According
to the revealed studies at the annual European Congress on Obesity, MPR says
"Consumption of pistachio nuts is associated with decreased insulin
resistance in individuals with prediabetes."
The
researches of Western Pistachios Association prepared a pistachio diet for a
group of patients and they finally found that by having a pistachio diet, the
amount of fasting glucose, insulin, and homeostasis are decreased. Fortunately
after the pistachio diet there were also significant decreases in metabolic
risk markers such as fibrinogen, glucagon, and oxidized LDL.
